Jaipur, 24 August. A
delegation from Republic of Argentine headed by Ambassador of Argentina in
India Shri Hugo Javier Gobbi met Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot at Chief
Minister's residence on Tuesday.
During the meeting
Shri Gehlot discussed the possibilities of mutual cooperation between Argentina
and Rajasthan. He said during the last two and half years the state government
has taken various policy decisions in the interest of the investors. Important
policies and programmes like RIPS-2019, MSME Act-2019, Rajasthan Industrial
Development Policy-2019, Solar and Wind Energy Policy, One Stop Shop system etc.
have been implemented to increase investment in the state. Investment and
entrepreneurship friendly atmosphere has developed in the state due to these
policy reforms, he said.
Shri Hugo discussed
with Chief Minister about the possibilities of investment in agriculture,
industry, tourism and mining sectors. He said companies from Argentina were
interested in investment in sectors like Medical & Health, IT, Lithium and
Silver exploration in mining sector and batteries of e-vehicles.
During the meeting
discussion were made regarding possibilities available for investment in
tourism, agro-processing, agri-marketing, contract farming, animal husbandry etc.
Apart from this information regarding increasing production of olive, date
palm, pomegranate etc. in the state was also shared.

Mr. Mariano Beheran and Head of Commercial Department Ms. Denise Preguica Bozic
were also the part of the Argentine delegation.
