Jaipur, 13 August.As part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, a large number of activities are being undertaken to celebrate 75th Year of India’s Independence. Motivational lectures were conducted by Decorated officers and Women Officers of the Konark Corps for school children in order to foster the spirit of Nationalism and motivate the youth to contribute towards Nation Building.
The motivational talks were given on topics like, Role of Indian Army in 1971 War & War Heroes of Rajasthan, Achieving Your Most Ambitious Goals, Motivating Todays Youth on the Aspect of the Bravery, Know Indian Army, Motivating Youth for Nation Development, How to Join Indian Army as a Lady Officer, and Life of Young Officer in Combat Engineer. These talks were conducted for students at, KV Barmer, APS Jaisalmer, KV Itarana, Catholic School Niwaru, APS Jodhpur, APS Bhuj, APS Ahmedabad, which are under Konark Corps.
The officers spoke to the student for over an hour on their respective topics giving the children a brief insight on the Indian Army and its functioning. The children were very happy to receive valuable lessons on dynamic leadership, military ethos and ways to join the Indian Army.
