Jaipur, August 18.Health Minister Dr Raghu Sharma said that the government medical arrangements won the confidence of the general public during the corona period. This is the reason that now people instead of private hospitals have started going to government medical institutions. The State Government is also rapidly strengthening the infrastructure of big hospitals to primary health centres situated in remote areas in the State.
Dr Sharma said this while inspecting the works being done to prevent the possible third wave of corona at JK Lone Children’s Hospital in Jaipur on Tuesday. He also inaugurated a medical oxygen generation plant, ICU unit, HDU unit and CT scan machine at the hospital.
The Health Minister said that a CT scan machine worth around Rs 3 crore was set up with the help of the Goenka family. He said 10-15 CT scans are being done daily with this machine. With setting up this machine, now other patients along with corona patients will avail this facility, he added.
