Jaipur, Oct 21. The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested a private person Shalu Khan on the allegations of demanding & accepting bribe of Rs. 15,000/- from the complainant, a public servant.
CBI has registered a case against a private person and unknown others on complaint. It was alleged that the said private person demanded undue advantage of Rs. 15,000/- in lieu of giving his deposition in favour of complainant, in the departmental enquiry in Railways which was instituted on the basis of complaint lodged by aforesaid private person.
CBI laid a trap and caught the private person while demanding & accepting undue advantage of Rs. 15,000/- as bribe. Search was conducted at the residential premises of the accused. The role of other public and private persons is being looked into.
The arrested accused is being produced today before the Special Judge, CBI Cases, Jaipur.
