Jaipur, December 9, Health Minister Mr Parsadi Lal Meena flagged off Cancer Preventive and Early Detection Mobile van by handing over the keys at his official residence on Thursday.
Mr Meena said that the mobile van worth Rs 1.20 crore with the help of Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam CSR fund will conduct cancer test by going to villages during Prashasan Gaon ke Sang campaign.
The Health Minister said that the cancer preventive mobile van will prove very effective for the needy and poor people who generally cannot come to hospital. He said that cancer can be diagnosed at the initial stage through this van. He said that free testing of breast cancer, cervical cancer, oral cancer and lung cancer will be done in this van.The Health Minister said that the van has digital mammography for detecting breast cancer, digital colposcopy for testing cervical cancer, digital chest x-ray for lung cancer and endoscopy test for oral cancer and the van will also have the facility for immediate diagnosis and telemedicine for other discussion.
Sawai Man Singh Medical College Principal Dr Sudhir Bhandari, Dr Sandeep Jasuja, Dr RC Meena and other doctors and officers were present on this occasion.
