Jaipur, March 31. Chief Minister Mr Ashok
Gehlot has given administrative and financial sanction for 9 posts for the
Anti-Cheating Cell (Examination Fraud Investigation Unit), a special
investigation unit formed in the Special Operation Group (SOG) to prevent
irregularities in competitive examinations.
Mr Gehlot has approved a total of 9 posts
including an Additional Superintendent of Police, a Police Inspector and a Sub
Inspector and to provide other necessary resources including vehicles in this
unit.
The creation of this unit will help in
preventing paper leaks, copying and other irregularities in various recruitment
examinations in the State and will help get the strictest punishment to the
criminals by conducting an effective investigation in the cases related to it.
It is to be mentioned that the Chief Minister in the State Budget 2022-23 had
announced to form this Anti-Cheating Cell to prevent irregularities in
recruitment examinations.
