Jaipur, March 2. The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested an Assistant Supervisor (Mr Umesh Sinha,) working in the office of AG, Jaipur (Rajasthan) for demanding and accepting bribe of Rs One Lakh from the Complainant.
A case was registered on complaint against Senior DAG and an Assistant Supervisor both working in the office of AG, Jaipur (Rajasthan) and unknown others on the allegations of bribery demand of Rs.12.5 Lakh. It was further alleged that the Assistant Supervisor demanded said bribe on behalf of Sr DAG for releasing Complainant's arrear, regularization of his service and promotion benefits.
CBI laid a trap and caught the Assistant Supervisor while demanding & accepting Rs.One Lakh towards first instalment as undue advantage from the Complainant. Searches are being conducted today at the office and residential premises of accused. The accused will be produced before the Competent Court at Jaipur
