Raipur, March 22, On the occasion of World Water Day, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has greeted the people of Chhattisgarh. In his message, he reminds us about the importance of the most essential resource needed for survival i.e., water.
The Chief Minister has urged the people of the state to protect, cleanse and replenish all sources of water.
The Chief Minister further said that Chhattisgarh has always been a state of ponds and rivers which were drying up due to a lack of proper care and awareness few years ago. Under the Narua Program, the Chhattisgarh government is expeditiously working towards conserving and replenishing these water sources but for this, the participation of the public is equally important.
Mr. Baghel has also asked everyone, as responsible citizens, to take individual initiatives to save our heritage ponds, water sources and inspire the new generation for the same.
