Jaipur,16 May. Lieutenant General JS Nain, Param Vishisht Seva Medal, Ati Vishisht SevaMedal, Sena Medal, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Command visited Konark Corps on May 7th. The Army Commander was briefed by Lieutenant General Rakesh Kapoor, Vishisht Seva Medal, General Officer Commanding, Konark Corps on the operational preparedness and administrative excellence of the formation.
He expressed deep satisfaction for the superlative training standard of the Corps. The General Officer complimented all ranks of Konark Corps for their commitment and dedicated efforts towards maintaining highest standards of operational readiness, morale and motivation.
The Regional President AWWA, Mrs Anita Nain accompanied the Army Commander during the visit. She visited Konark Army Pre Primary School and ASHA School, a school for differently abled children and was briefed on the facilities being provided to the children. Mrs Anita Nain complimented the school management for the dedication and hard work of the staff towards a very noble cause for the society.
