Raipur,6 June . The Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today reiterated his resolve towards environment conservation by planting saplings of Harra and Char in his residence premises in Raipur.
On the occasion, he appealed people of the state to plant saplings, nurture them and protect them so as to make the environment clean and green. Chief Minister had planted Bohar sapling in his residence premises last year on the occasion of World Environment Day, which has now grown to a height of 5 feet.
Mr. Baghel went near the plant and expressed satisfaction over its growth. On this occasion, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Chief of Forest Force Shri Rakesh Chaturvedi and Divisional Forest Officer, Raipur Shri Vishwesh Kumar Jha were present.
