Chandigarh, June 1– Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal on the occasion of International Child Protection Day has called upon the people to pledge to protect the rights of innocent children as they are the future of the country. People should encourage and motive such needy children in their respective areas.
In a message issued here today the Chief Minister said that some children have lost both their parents due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It has become the responsibility of all of us to take care of such orphaned children.
Considering the situation, Haryana Government has taken a new initiative and implemented schemes to provide monthly financial assistance and free education to such children.
