Jaipur, 16 January. Chief Minister Mr Ashok Gehlot said that the BJP is indulging in malicious publicity for the sake of politics over the unfortunate incident involving mentally challenged girl from Alwar. They are least bothered about the agony family members are undergoing due to such malicious campaign. This attitude is condemnable.
The State police is conducting a free and fair investigation into the matter. However, if the family members would like to get the incident investigated by any specific officer or CID, Crime Branch, SOG or CBI, the State Government is ready to do so.
The State Government’s intentions are very clear that there should be independent and impartial investigation and the truth should prevail.
