BOOK BY THE PALACE SCHOOL TITLED 'THE CAMEL WITH A JAPI' LAUNCHED AT THE JAIPUR LITERATURE FESTIVAL

Jaipur, March 15: On the concluding day of the Jaipur Literature Festival, 'The Camel with a Japi' was launched in an interactive session with the author Mrs. Urvashi Warman, Principal of the Palace School in conversation with Apra Kuchhal. The book has been brought out by the Palace School, Jaipur and is written under Shri Narendra Modi ji's vision of Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat .


This unique tale chronicles the journey of four friends who, along with their teachers and guest faculty from France, undertake an exciting expedition that takes the reader from the dry, barren desert of Rajasthan to the lush green forests of Assam.

On the occassion, the author candidly shared her creative journey that led to the writing of this unique book which has integrated culture, education and the larger message of unity in diversity of our great nation. She said that it has been a culmination of the collective efforts of the students, the faculty and the alumni of the Palace School. The beautiful illustrations in the book that complement the narrative have also been created by the Art Department of the school.

Mrs  Urvashi mentioned that the book also fulfills the objectives of the current education policy by integrating over 12 subjects of the school curriculum and several aspects of the book have been mapped with the NCERT textbooks to make it entertaining and educational for students.
