NPS Deduction Will Not Be Made of Employees of State Government Enterprises and Autonomus Bodies

 

Jaipur, March 25. Chief Minister Mr Ashok Gehlot while taking an important decision in the interest of the employees of State Government Enterprises and Autonomus Bodies has approved the abolition of 10% monthly deduction made under NPS appointed after January 1, 2004, on the lines of the State Employees. After this decision there will be no NPS deduction from the salary of the March month payable in April 2022.

It is to be mentioned that the Chief Minister while replying to the discussion of Finance and Appropriation Bill 2022-23 announced to abolish the monthly deduction of NPS from the salary of March month, payable on April 1, 2022, of the employees appointed on January 1, 2004, and thereafter. Shri Gehlot has decided to stop this deduction for the employees of state government enterprises and autonomous bodies.

The Chief Minister has approved the draft of the order related to stop deduction of NPS from the salary bills of State Government Employees and employees of State Govt Enterprise and Autonomous Bodies.
