Jaipur, Dec 10. In a resounding tribute to Kargil Vijay Rajat Jayanti and to Honour the Veterans and Next of Kin, the “Honour Run: Indian Army Half Marathon” was conducted at various stations of Sapta Shakti Command on 10 December 2023.
At Jaipur Military Station, more than 250 runners including serving Army personnel and Veterans participated in a 10 km run. The run was flagged off from the Prerna Sthal.
At Bathinda Military Station, the Honour Run witnessed participation of large number of veterans from Bathinda and the nearby villages. At Hisar, 200 runners including Veterans participated in the run, flagged off by General Officer Commanding, Dot on Target Division.
The ‘Honour Run’ at various military stations of the Sapta Shakti command was part of a series of events organised across India to commemorate the 25 years of Kargil War Victory. The event served as a platform to honour our Kargil Heroes on Kargil Vijay Rajat Jayanti.
