Rajasthan Will Participate in 'Dubai World Expo'

 


          Jaipur, September 9. State Government is promptly and actively working to attract investors in Rajasthan by promoting the state's investment-friendly atmosphere. Following the track, in order to invite international investors to set-up entrepreneurs in Rajasthan, the state will participate in the 'Dubai World Expo' which is being organized by the Federation Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) between November 12 and 18, 2021.

          Chief Minister Mr Ashok Gehlot has approved a proposal of additional provision of Rs. 5 crore for the activities related to branding of Rajasthan during the Dubai World Expo. During this summit, the officials of RIICO and the Bureau of Investment Promotion (BIP) of Industries Department and the Tourism Department will hold discussions with the foreign as well local entrepreneurs and investors for possibilities of investment in different sectors.

          The state government will book stalls, retail shop, meeting rooms, amphitheatre, multipurpose hall etc. in the Indian Pavilion of Dubai World Expo in which business seminars, B2B or roundtable meetings and business exhibition will be organized. Besides this, the businessmen and entrepreneurs would be exposed to the glimpses of Rajasthan's unique traditions, art and culture by showcasing of regional cinema or through cultural performances and food festivals.

          This decision of Shri Gehlot would lead to better branding of the state amongst the international investors, so that they could be invited and persuaded for investment in Rajasthan.
