 Jaipur, July 24.A Low Pressure Area lies over southwest Rajasthan & neighbourhood and the associated cyclonic circulation extends upto mid-tropospheric levels. 

The monsoon trough at mean sea level runs south of its normal position. It is likely to persist in the same location during next 2-3 days and very likely to shift northwards towards its normal position from 27th July for subsequent 3-4 days.According toNational WeatherForecasting CenterA cyclonic circulation lies over southeast Madhya Pradesh & neighbourhood in lower & middle tropospheric levels tilting southwards with height.   Under the influence of above systems. Fairly widespread/ widespread light to moderate rainfall with isolated heavy falls, thunderstorm & lightning very likely over Gujarat State, Rajasthan and West Madhya Pradesh during 24th - 26th; over north Konkan & adjoining ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana during 24th - 25th July

Isolated extremely heavy falls also likely over Gujarat State and southeast Madhya Pradesh on 24th July, 2022. Isolated very heavy falls very likely over Gujarat state & West Madhya Pradesh on 25th; East Rajasthan on 24th & 25th; West Rajasthan on 24th, over Vidarbha, north Konkan & adjoining ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra on 24th July.Fairly widespread to widespread rainfall with isolated heavy falls and thunderstorm/lightning very likely over Jammu & Kashmir on 28th; Himachal Pradesh & Uttarakhand during 24th-28th July.

Isolated very heavy rainfall very likely over Himachal Pradesh & Uttarakhand on 28th July Scattered to fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall over Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim during 24th-26th and fairly widespread to widespread light to moderate rainfall with isolated heavy falls and thunderstorm/lightning very likely over the region during 27th-28th July. Isolated very heavy rainfall very likely over Punjab on 28th July, light/moderate rainfall with isolated heavy falls very likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during 24th-28th July.
